Team Expectations
1. Attend every practice and DCL Meet for the entirety of the season.
2. Communicate with coaches and captains any potential conflicts ahead of time. Captains/Coaches can be reached either directly or by email.
3. Arrive every day with appropriate equipment, and adequate nutrition. Be prepared for any/all weather conditions and to be outside!
4. Bring your assigned DCL Bib # to all DCL League Meets (Including the DCL Championships)
4. Come each day willing to display a positive, supportive, and selfless attitude. Toxic and/or destructive behavior can result in dismissal from the teams. Team members will be held to a higher standard of conduct while serving as representatives and positive role models for the community.
5. Develop adequate hygiene and lifestyle habits. Wash frequently and take responsibility for your own personal health, but also the health of others. Exposure (aka "In the presence of") or substance abuse of any kind can result in immediate removal from the teams.
6. Set goals and be involved! All members are encouraged to set and communicate their personal as well as team goals. Everyone is expected to take an active role, whether that is helping out at practices and meets or organizing team bonding and fundraising activities. Do more than simply participate!
7. HAVE FUN and WORK HARD! Everyone is encouraged to make friends, try something new, and challenge themselves. The most important expectation is everyone makes it fun for one another!
